MEMBERSHIP TERMS

1. TRIAL

We may offer a free or a paid trial subscription for service. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, you will be automatically charged a price indicated on the payment screen for a chosen subscription period.

2. MEMBERSHIP

The membership subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each week, month, 6 months, year, or otherwise, depending on the option selected by you at the time of purchase) until you cancel.

We may offer a free membership with limited access to the features of the service, as well as different levels of membership which provide greater benefits.

We may offer an opportunity to “skip a month”. You will not be charged for the specific month, charges will renew from the following month. By opting to “skip a month”, you will keep all your membership benefits but you won’t earn membership points for that month.

3. LOYALTY POINTS

As part of the Lumi membership program on the mobile app only, users may earn loyalty points through eligible activity and spend them. 

Loyalty points may be earned through the membership charges, in-app purchases or through other additional methods communicated to you by Lumi.

Lumi maintains two types of loyalty points:

  • Level points (Total Earned Points): These reflect the cumulative total of points you have earned, including any that have been spent or expired. Level points are used solely to determine your membership level.
  • Redeemable Points (Available to Spend): These are points that are active and available for redemption toward rewards such as promo codes or discounts.

Loyalty points earned from purchases are marked as “Pending” until the related order is delivered. If items related to a purchase are returned after loyalty points have been awarded, Lumi reserves the right to deduct the corresponding points from your account balance.

Loyalty points are non-transferable, non-refundable, and hold no cash value. Unused loyalty points expire 12 months after the date they become redeemable.

If you cancel your membership, any unused loyalty points will be available on your account till the end of the subscription period. Your current membership level will remain active until the end of your billing period. Eligibility for future membership levels may depend on the total points you have earned.

3. PROMO CODES

We may provide promo codes to users. A user can redeem the promo code within the specified period of time. Promo codes are non-refundable, cannot be withdrawn as cash and may only be used within the service. Any unused promo codes will be forfeited and cannot be refunded or transferred. If the membership is canceled, the existing promo code remains valid until the end of the current billing cycle.

4. PAYMENT METHOD

Payment will be charged to the payment method you submitted at the time of purchase at confirmation of purchase. You authorize us to charge the applicable fees to the payment method that you submit.

5. CANCELLATION

Canceling your membership means that the automatic renewal will be disabled, but you will still have access to all your membership features for the remaining time of the current period. Note that deleting the app does not cancel your subscriptions.


If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on our website: You can cancel a trial or a subscription by contacting our support at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or then-current subscription period.
 

How to access the Membership page

You can view your membership information, and manage its settings, by navigating to your Profile page. The Profile page can be accessed from the bottom menu (button on the right with icon of the Profile) At the Profile Page, choose ‘Manage Membership’. Once you click there, you will be redirected on the web-page asking you of the cancellation reason.
 

Once you indicate the reason, you will be directed to the page where you can click button ‘Cancel Plan’. Once clicked, you will be asked to confirm Cancellation.

6. CHANGES

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, we may change subscription fees or these terms at any time. We will give you reasonable notice of any such pricing changes by posting the new prices on the app and/or by sending you an email notification, or in another prominent way. If you do not wish to pay the new fees, you can cancel the applicable subscription prior to the change going into effect.

7. REFUNDS

If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on App Store: If you are eligible for a refund, you’ll have to request it directly from Apple. To request a refund, follow these instructions from the Apple support page.

If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on Google Play:  If you are eligible for a refund, you'll have to request it directly from Google. To request a refund, follow these instructions from the Google’s support page.

If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on the Huawei AppGallery: If you used Huawei In-App Purchases to make a purchase, to request a refund, please coordinate with Huawei customer service for assistance Huawei’s support page. If you used our website to make a purchase, please refer to our Refund Policy.

If you purchased a subscription or enabled trial on our website or in the app using a purchasing method other than in-app purchase via App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery: Please refer to our Terms of Use and Money-Back Policy

NOTE FOR EU CITIZENS:

If you are an EU user, you have a period of 14 days to withdraw from a contract, without giving any reason, and without incurring any costs.

Subject to above clause, to exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an e-mail. You may use the model withdrawal form but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

 

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you have been presented with and you have provided your prior express consent to begin the performance during the right of withdrawal period and acknowledgement that you will lose your right of withdrawal, then, unless the Service is defective, you will not be eligible to a refund in relation to digital content and will only be eligible to a proportional refund in relation to digital service. If this provision applies, we will provide you with a copy of the confirmation of your prior express consent and acknowledgement on a durable medium.
